Free MP3 Cutter Joiner is a multimedia software created by DVDVideoMedia. The audio software allows audio cutting and joining between MP3 files into a single sound clip. It has a simplified layout and tools for easier audio processing.
An Attempt For Audio Editing
Free MP3 Cutter Joiner is built with a simple purpose, select and cut out a specific portion of an audio file. That clipped portion can be also joined with another audio clip into a single file. This software integrates 2 separate tools into one editing platform. It aims to acquire highlights from audio files while combining them. Unfortunately, this already exists in vastly superior software like Audacity. On the other hand, this can be used by anyone needing to perform a quick audio tweaking. Opening a powerful software may take time to load. It is noticeable that the user interface looks dated and unintuitive. There are no other audio editing options available like equalizer, audio balance, bass, tempo adjustment and more. Having limited options mean that the output can sound poorly.
Main Editing Functionality
The software has 2 sections: The MP3 Cutter and MP3 Joiner. The MP3 Cutter section is where users load the audio file of their choice. They can set the “Start Point and End Point” where the audio file will play and stop, or directly define the time in “hh:mm:ss.fff” parameters. The cutting process begins at pressing the Start. The MP3 Joiner section requires 2 audio files to be imported and sampled. There are minimal audio adjustment options available such as audio quality, channels, and sample rate. Just press the Join button and the two audio clips are together as one.
Only Doing One Purpose
Free MP3 Cutter Joiner has very limited functionality and should be only used for quick cutting and joining audio clips only. The interface is too simplistic and the audio output may sound poorly due to few audio adjustment options.
